The third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili is being transferred from the 12th penitentiary institution in Rustavi to Tbilisi City Court. Representatives of the Special Penitentiary Service will soon take Mikheil Saakashvili to court, where a hearing will be held on the case of illegal crossing of the Georgian state border.
The hearing is scheduled for 13:00 in Tbilisi City Court.
Defendant Mikheil Saakashvili will also attend the hearing.
The investigation into the illegal border crossing by Mikheil Saakashvili started on October 1. Four more people - Elguja Tsomaia, Zurab and Shalva Tsotsoria and Giorgi Narimanidze - have been charged in the case. The said persons have pleaded guilty.
