Georgia reports 5,326 new cases of coronavirus, 48 deaths

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 55,474 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 32,029 antigen tests and 23,445 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 5,326 newly confirmed cases of the virus were detected. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 979,235.

 

In the last 24 hours, 3,044 people recovered from the virus, while the total number of people recovered increased to 922,411.

 

There have been 48 new cases of coronavirus death. A total of 14,359 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
