Tbilisi City Hall invites the population of Tbilisi and the guests of the capital to the New Year village from today until January 14. The New Year villages will be arranged at different locations, including: Orbeliani Square, April 9 Garden, Dry Bridge area, and Dedaena Garden.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze got acquainted with the preparations for the opening today. As the mayor of the capital noted, the New Year village is intended for all age categories and will host various entertainment events every day.

The New Year Village will host a variety of New Year decorations, installations, a synthetic ice rink, an open-air cinema, a giant fairy tale book and storyteller, a New Year's market, food outlets, sweets festival, children's attractions, a decorated Christmas tree and Santa's house.

During the day, a giant Santa march, children-entertainment shows and concerts will be held children in the New Year village. In the evening, performances by pop singers, music bands and electronic music events will be held for adults.

The New Year Village will open on December 24, at 13:00, and at 20:00, the opening ceremony is scheduled in the Dedaena Garden. On January 14, the village will close with a big music show.
