Georgia reports 4,226 new cases of coronavirus, 53 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 55,130 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 33,673 antigen tests and 21,457 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 4,226 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 875,806.

 

As of December 7, the daily rate of positive is 7.67%, for the last 14 days - 8.31% and for 7 days - 7.96%.

 

4,091 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to is 817,963. 53 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 12,519 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 4,226 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 1,790 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 205, Imereti - 635, Kvemo Kartli - 250, Shida Kartli - 366, Guria - 117, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 316, Kakheti - 169, Mtskheta- Mtianeti - 92, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 235, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 51.
