In Georgia, the term for the so-called booster shot of the vaccine has been reduced from 6 to 5 months, according to the Ministry of Health.

The booster dose of Pfizer should be administered at least 5 months after the second dose.

The same or another vaccine can be used as a booster.

“For persons vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm, the booster dose should be given at intervals of at least 3 months after the start of the initial vaccination course.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is an effective and safe way to protect against infection!

The World Health Organization, public health agencies and qualified physicians recommend vaccination against COVID-19,” the agency said.
