This is a propaganda accusation, which is used very successfully by the state media, that is trying to label Georgia's third president as corrupt, in fact it is an absurd accusation, - this is how Dimitri Sadzaglishvili, the lawyer of the third president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, assessed the case of embezzlement of funds, about which a hearing will be held in the city court today.
In addition, the lawyer noted that the primary task of the defense side is to make public the ongoing cases in court, which is why they will file a live broadcast motion at all trials.
Sadzaglishvili also noted that although the court in Saakashvili's case is enforcing the will of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the country's third president will not stay in prison for long.
