There is still tension near the Zugdidi regional administration building, where the opposition is protesting against the approval of the 2022 draft budget of the City Council. Police arrested 2 people on the spot. According to Ani Tsitlidze, a member of the United National Movement, one of the detainees is the newly elected member of the City Council, Davit Pipia.

Opposition groups are trying to make inscriptions outside the building, which the police do not allow.

At the same time, the draft budget is being voted inside the building, from where the opposition representatives were recently removed by the police.

Police are mobilized inside and outside the Zugdidi Regional Administration building.

We would like to remind you that today the Councils of several municipalities of Georgia are voting on the draft budget for 2022. According to opposition lawmakers, the Georgian Dream is trying to get next year's budget in violation of the law by the "previous convocation council", where the ruling team has a majority.
