Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, does not rule out a reconsideration of green status, according to which green status is permanently granted to a person who was previously infected with coronavirus. Gamkrelidze told journalists about this.

"The position of our National Center for Disease Control was different, the Coordination Council made this decision by a majority, for a certain period. Let's see, we will observe and then it can be reconsidered.

The Coordinating Council is an intersectoral body, which includes about 25 people, representing different sectors and directions. The issue is usually accepted by consensus. This does not mean that the Centers for Disease Control will say anything and it must be accepted", - Gamkrelidze said.

According to him, the "green passport" includes four indicators: double vaccination, coronavirus recovery PCR test in the last 72 hours, rapid antigen test in the last 24 hours.
