Georgia reported 5 085 coronavirus cases, 4 428 recoveries, and 62 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.

 

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 815 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 997 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 497 cases.

 

A total of 51 440 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them36 162 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15 278 were PCR tests.

 

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9, 89 %, while 9, 11 % in the past 14 days.

 

Georgia’s total case tally reached 819 182 among them 759 657 people recovered and 11 615 died.

 

There are 58 people quarantined, 6 588 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 103 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.

 

As of November 23, 2 107 467 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 9 594 in a day.
