Georgia reports 1,851 new cases of coronavirus, 55 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 22,012 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 13,137 antigen tests and 8,875 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 1,851 cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 814,097.

 

As of November 21, the daily positive rate is 8.41%, for the last 14 days - 9.25% and for 7 days - 8.97%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 5,530 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to to 755,229. 55 coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 11,553 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 1,851 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 861 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 83, Imereti - 350, Kvemo Kartli - 84, Shida Kartli - 104, Guria - 48, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 115, Kakheti - 92, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 51, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 47, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti -16.
