Nika Melia, Chairman of the United National Movement, the footage released by the Ministry of Justice shows violence against one of the captives.

"What we see today, every day, is not justice, it is personal revenge against one person, against a person who is not given the opportunity to even enjoy the right to a fair trial. He is not allowed to be present at the process, h is not given the opportunity to make phone calls. He was abducted while being transferred from point "a" to point "b". This is revenge against one citizen of Georgia, who has done a lot for his country. He is the third president of Georgia, abused by Ivanishvili. There will be no rest. This regime will methodically collapse, peacefully.

The footage released by the Penitentiary Service is a coercive step taken by them. They knew that sooner or later, they would have to release this footage.

They also knew that they would have to provide these videos to the Strasbourg Court. Faced with the most difficult dilemma, the Georgian Dream regime made a decision that was very painful for them to release these footage by themselves’, said Melia.
