The society has already carried out an electoral revolution on October 30, now it is time to develop this electoral revolution and turn it into an early election, - reads the letter of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, which was introduced to journalists by his lawyer Shota Tutberidze.

In the letter, Mikheil Saakashvili calls on citizens to express protest at an opposition rally in Tbilisi on Saturday.

"According to my observations and experience, I want to tell you that society today is much more prepared for fundamental changes than it was before the Rose Revolution. The society is now more informed and, most importantly, unified than it was then. Our society has already carried out an electoral revolution on October 30, now it is the time to develop this electoral revolution and turn it into an early election. I fully support the coalition of the winning mayors and other leaders and simultaneous rallies in many places. This is based on the Serbian example. Milosevic first seized the local elections won by the opposition in Yugoslavia and the opposition first staged rallies in many places and then moved to Belgrade. Why are rallies important in many places simultaneously? - Because Ivanishvili has a very limited number of loyal police units and will carry them back and forth. Thus, it will have to divide the forces and will not be able to restrict the constitutional rights of the citizens of Georgia, the Georgian people. It is necessary, especially for the odious local self-governments and the injustices committed by them, to be constantly attacked and exposed, and, of course, the whole of Georgia must go to Tbilisi next week, and as soon as the date is announced, the emigrants must devote one you to Georgia.

Now the main thing is the number of people and you, yes, you represent, and the elections have proved it, the absolute majority of the Georgian society. We need to be peaceful but very resilient and mobile. I do not know which day of my hunger strike it will be, but I will not die and I will definitely wait for you to win and celebrate the victory, the victory of Georgia. I also welcome Elene Khoshtaria. Yes, I have not forgotten Elene and the participants in the solidarity hunger strike in Parliament and prison. I heard that a 24-year-old girl, who is on hunger strike near prison, is the granddaughter of my favorite Nekresi Bishop Sergi. The Bishop has just passed away, but, I know for sure, he would be proud of Nino’s civic heroism. I want to tell her and all the other hunger strikers to take maximum care of their own health. One sacrifice is enough for this struggle. Once again, friends, there has to be a lot of us on Saturday. It does not matter which political party you support. Extraordinary elections and my dismissal will be the demands, but none of this is the ultimate goal, but a means to stop the unbelievable rise in prices, mass outflow of Georgians from Georgia, the process of finding Georgians in the minority in their own country, corruption and poverty, and to get our country out of the swamp once and for all," reads Mikheil Saakashvili's letter.
