According to the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC), on November 2, the data of 58 more polling stations were recounted.

 

According to the data of the recounted polling stations, the results remained unchanged in 44 polling stations and slightly changed in 14 polling stations, - CEC spokeswoman Natia Ioseliani said at the briefing.

 

As Ioseliani noted, the recounts did not affect the preliminary results of the second round.

 

"As a result of the recount, the United National Movement lost 6 votes and gained 3 votes, the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia lost 5 and gained 39 votes, and Gakharia - For Georgia party lost 34 votes. The recounts did not affect the preliminary results of the second round”, said Ioseliani.
