25.07.19 13:40

One of the Georgian airlines will open its representation in Israel amid Russian flight ban, Itsik Moshe, president of Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business noted.
“We plan to open a representation of one of the Georgian airlines. We opened the representation in Georgia several days ago. We plan to invite Israeli tour operators to Georgia. We readdressed two international conferences to Georgia and in 2020 we will hold one business forum on tourism industry issues. We are taking these efforts to enhance tourism industry in Georgia”, Itsik Moshe said.

If Georgia maintains 28% growth in inflow of Israeli tourists, the country will earn 200 million USD by 2020, he said.

“As to the Jewish heritage route, we implement this project jointly with Ministry of Culture and Council of Europe. We plan to attract tourists for this route. If we maintain 28% growth in tourist inflows, the number of Israeli tourists will hit 200 000 persons and this signifies 200 million USD incomes in addition. We can ensure annual growth in tourist inflows from Israel”, Itsik Moshe said.
