Georgia reported 1,942 coronavirus cases, 4,650 recoveries, and 46 deaths on October 25, the official figures show.
22,847 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 13,643 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,204 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8,5%, while 9,04% in the past seven days.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 704 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 438 cases and the Kakheti region with 253 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 694,182, among them, 635,611 people recovered and 9,788 died.
There are 51 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,166 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,022 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 1,549 critical patients, 318 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 1,950,693 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 1,877 in a day.
