Mikheil Sarjveladze: You should ask Kubilius why does he misinterpret Irakli Gharibashvili's statement

You should ask Kubilius why does he misinterpret Irakli Gharibashvili's statement?! - The interpretation is wrong and exaggerated, - Mikheil Sarjveladze, of Georgian Dream MP, told journalists.

Sarjveladze insists that the Prime Minister's statement on the detention of Mikheil Saakashvili should not be considered as interference in justice.

"Andrius Kubilius did not say anything about the content of the case? This is not the opinion of all MEPs and we have heard qualitatively different and more substantiated arguments on these issues. As for the statement that justice should not be administered until someone reviews the court decision of the sovereign state of Georgia, I do not think that there is any reason or basis for sharing such a request, which is absolutely nonsense from a legal point of view. It would be nonsense, it would be non-European behavior to put politics and someone with a political attitude above justice. The rule of law is the most important foundation on which a European state should be built. I cannot imagine it any other way," Mikheil Sarjveladze said.

According to MEP Andrius Kubilius, the Georgian Prime Minister said in a statement that if Saakashvili did not act properly, new charges would be filed against him, which shows that the politicization of the court in Georgia is not over and this is the biggest problem.
