According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 38,093 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,592 antigen tests and 17,501 PCR tests.
The testing revealed 3,270 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 652,677.
As of October 14, the daily positive rate is 8.58%, for the last 14 days - 7.58% and for 7 days - 8.75%.
In the last 24 hours, 1,298 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 608,861. 26 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 9,396 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 3,270 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 920 cases reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 178, Imereti - 700, Kvemo Kartli - 191, Shida Kartli - 149, Guria - 86, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 315, Kakheti - 586, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 50, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 64, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 31.
