Georgian citizen detained in Poland for transporting illegal migrants by bus

Polish law enforcers have detained a Georgian citizen who was transporting illegals by bus.

 

According to Polish media, the man was aggressive, disobeying a police request to stop the bus, prompting law enforcement to open fire. No one was injured in the incident.

 

In addition to the driver, 13 illegals were found in the bus, 11 Iraqi and 2 Turkish citizens.

 

42-year-old Georgian was sentenced to pre-trial detention. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
